Delete your account
You can delete your Pluck account and the information in it at any time.
In the app
- Open Pluck and tap Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away. If you're on the waitlist, Delete account is at the bottom of the waitlist screen.
Without the app
Email support@pluckdating.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm by email and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you write from a different address, we'll ask you to show the account is yours first.
Deleting the app from your phone doesn't delete your account.
What's deleted
- Your profile, photos and preferences
- Your matches, messages and date suggestions, for both people in each match
- Your evening drops, blocks, invite codes and "did you meet?" answers
- Your sign-in and the phones registered for notifications
What's kept
- Reports you made, no longer linked to you, and reports about you, because they help keep members safe
- A log of actions, linked only to an ID that no longer leads to you
- Database backups, for up to 7 days, after which the data is gone from them too
